The Nazarene Fund Update: Reaching Our Goal

Thanks to our faithful donors, Mercury One has rescued and restored a total of: 553 families, 11,455 people

When The Nazarene Fund launched at Restoring Unity on August 28, 2015, Mercury One has been hard at work reaching the goal of rescuing and restoring 400 families that have been persecuted for their faith in the Middle East. Below are missions that we have accomplished with your support:

  • December 2015: rescued 149 Iraqi Christians to Slovakia.
  • April 2016: B2A Project, relocated 880 IDPs residing in a camp with deplorable living conditions into apartments in northern Iraq
  • June 2016: Provided aid to 9,090 people fleeing Fallujah, Iraq, during the recent liberation
  • June 2016: Relocated 48 Yazidis living in UN tents into apartments within Iraq
  • July 2016: A2A Project, relocated 1,120 IDPs residing in a camp with deplorable living conditions into apartments in northern Iraq
  • July/first of August 2016: Resettled 155 Christians to Australia as they are reunited with their family
  • Provided scholarship to Syrian student to attend a prestigious university’s School of Divinity
  • Funded a trauma center in Iraq
  • Currently supporting churches in Jordan and Lebanon
  • Funded school in Jordan to educate refugee children as they await resettlement
  • Sponsored a high risk rescue

Because of you, we were able to surpass our goal. We are excited for the future as we work together in saving generations. As we embark our one-year anniversary of The Nazarene Fund, the needs are still great and our mission has only begun. Together, we are making a difference in the lives of Christians and religious minorities who are seeking support during their trying times. We cannot thank you enough for your incredible support and faithfulness to this project.
