Introducing Welcome Corps

Welcome Corps is a new refugee resettlement program. This program is a legal and safe way for refugees to come to our country. After going through background checks and being heavily vetted, refugees are legally allowed to enter to the United States if they have a sponsorship group.

The Welcome Corps program allows groups of five or more individuals to sponsor refugees, offering them hope and a chance to rebuild their lives. Sponsorship Groups assist refugees as they become a part of the community. They help refugees find a place to live, find work, get their children registered for school, learn English, and learn to be productive members of their community while adjusting to their new homes.

How You Can Help

Form a Sponsorship Group:

Gather five or more individuals to sponsor a refugee family. Your group will welcome them into your community, assist with their integration, and support them for their first 90 days in the U.S.

Focus on Afghanistan

Since the Taliban’s takeover in 2021, we have been working tirelessly to support those persecuted under the new regime. Many of the refugees we assist are women activists, judges, and professionals who have lost their freedoms and face severe oppression. We are dedicated to helping these individuals rebuild their lives in safety.
