Afghanistan

Currently TNF is supporting roughly 125 people monthly inside Afghanistan.  Monthly sustainment includes food and life sustaining supplies.  Most recipients are widows with children and Christians in hiding.

Although evacuations from Afghanistan have decreased significantly, TNF is evacuating high risk individuals from Afghanistan as needed.

Flag of Afghanistan

Currently TNF maintains in Pakistan:

  • 8 safe houses with at-risk Afghans waiting for final resettlement.
  • 12 families.
  • 47 people total in our care.

One of the greatest challenges of the Afghanistan situation is the lack of countries willing to take Afghan refugees.  Trying to establish “pathways” for resettlement is a full-time job for TNF, our contractors, and partners.  Currently we are working on pathway support services to the following countries:

  • Brazil Pathway: 108 souls
  • Mexico Pathway: 29 souls
  • Germany Pathway: 424 souls
  • Turkey Pathway: 5 souls
  • Australia: 4 souls
  • France: 2 souls
  • S. Pathway: 225 souls

Armenia

Hostilities inside Armenia began in September in the Nagorno-Karabakh enclave near Azerbaijan.  Over 100,000 Armenia’s fled to Armenia as separatists announced that Nagorno-Karabakh would be ruled by Azerbaijan beginning January 1, 2024.  The mass exodus and tensions surrounding the area have created a humanitarian crisis.

TNF operators are on the ground assisting Christian families as they flee their homes looking for safe passage and refuge.

    • 172 souls to Australia
    • 18 souls to Canada
  • Rescuing Yazidi women and men from Al Hol camp in Syria and reuniting them with living family members in Iraq.
  • Rescuing survivors from human trafficking in Iraq.
  • Rescuing families fleeing religious persecution for being Christian in Syria.
  • Providing safe houses for at risk Yazidi women and their “children of war.” Children of war are children fathered by ISIS fighters.
